Meet Kim

This blog blurb was written by Becky to highlight my awesome friend, Kim, for Kelly’s Korner – Show Us Your Life – Singles link-up. I don’t even have a blog but I emailed Kelly explaining to her how strongly I felt that I needed to introduce Kim to her blog readers and being the sweet person that Kelly is she graciously offered to work her magic and post this for me. Thanks so much Kelly!!!

The first thing that comes to mind about my friend Kim is her love for Jesus and her strong Christian faith. Kim’s father is a Baptist minister and happens to be the awesome pastor of the wonderful Missionary Baptist Church I attend in North Little Rock, AR. Kim is very active in our church. She’s involved in several ministries in our church but the one I personally enjoy the most is her involvement in our music ministry. Kim has a singing voice that will blow you away --- she is AMAZING!!!!!! She has recorded with Lifeword Ministries and traveled with the group in the past. She gives her talent to the Lord and blesses people greatly by using her beautiful voice for the honor and glory of God.

Kim is 45 years old, divorced, and the mother of an amazing 11-year old son. You need to know a little about her son as he is the light of her life. He is very smart, generous, very polite and well-mannered and just a joy to be around. He loves (and plays) all sports, especially football. Just to see the relationship Kim and her son share and the awesome job she has done of single-parenting is evidence of her relationship with her Savior; she has trusted Him and followed His direction.

She graduated from Central Baptist College; attended dental hygiene school and works as a dental hygienist in central Arkansas.

Kim is truly one of the most fun individuals you could ever want to be around. She has a fantastic sense of humor and loves adventure. She is a devoted Razorback fan and attends all the games. She actually loves all sports, especially if her son is playing ☺

I’m sharing this information with all of you and praying that there’s a Godly man out there who God sends to this post on this blog at just the right time.

Please leave a comment with your info if you would like to contact Kim or know someone who might!

  1. I would really love to find someone for my uncle. He's in his early 50's and has been a second father to me. He is a Christian and is a family man. The only problem is that he's in Georgia. Do you think a long distance thing would work?

  2. I forgot to mention that my uncle's brother (my other uncle) and his family lives in Conway AR so he is familiar with the area.

  3. I would love for her and my dad to meet. He is in his late 40's and lives in central Arkansas. What would be the best way to get them in contact?
